4.4.2.5 Telecomm Services : Cleaning of all the covered Telecomm equipments, panels and associated peripherals . To help the GAIL engineers for operation and maintenance of Internal 100 line EPABX Cleaning of Telecomm system installed at terminals and SV stations To assist GAIL engineer for testing of Spare optical fibers & recording result on pipeline route 4.4.3 Pipeline and its associated Installations : To assist GAIL engineer in servicing and checking of scrapper barrel and Pig handling Tray. To assist GAIL engineer in servicing of valves , valve actuators and putting back into operation. To assist GAIL engineers in maintenance , Upkeep and cleaning of on-line chargers/ Battery chargers , UPS/ PMCC/ MCC/ all Electrical panels Monitoring of Earth pits and Earthing system Monitoring & Maintenance of Anode ground bed and Junction Box Maintenance and Up keep of indoor & outdoor lighting panels / systems and Junction Boxes Maintenance of ceiling fans/exhaust fans Testing , Rectification and replacement of Yard lights in the terminal area. To assist GAIL engineers in dismantling, servicing and re-installation of PCVs , SDVs., & Turbine/ Orifice Meters Maintenance and Upkeep of all Instrument panels and Marshalling racks Removal of Pressure/Temperature/Level Switches, Indicators, Transmitters, Gauges from field and installation /re-installation of Pressure/Temperature/Level Switches, Indicators, Transmitters, Gauges at the field as per the instruction of GAIL engineer To assist GAIL engineer in calibration, functional check , servicing of instruments . .23 Instrumentation tubing and wiring works to be required on specific need basis. Any Specialized Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Works/ jobs not mentioned above, however required to be carried out on specific need basis. Checking of Fire equipments at SV/RR/ IP/ Tap-Off Stations. Functional checking of Gas / Smoke / UV detectors Checking of Fire Alarm Panel / Gas Detector Panel & Co2 flooding system. 4.5 Personnel to be deployed for providing the above mentioned services should have ITI certification or 5 yrs plus Hands on experience on maintenance of equipments, machinery in industrial plant, receipt and dispatch stations, pipeline and its associated installations & should have Minimum 8 th Pass. Services shall be provided on all days except Sundays & holidays in General shift. 4.5.1 The trade Discipline may be Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation as per the actual requirement at site. 4.5.1 FIRE TECHNICIAN: shall have BASIC fire fighting course from any recognized institute. 4.6 Services shall be provided in general shift/ general duty on all days except Sundays & holidays. 5.0 PROVIDING TECHNICAL MANPOWER SERVICES FOR EMRGENCY / SHUTDOWN JOBS IN TERMINALS, PIPELINES AND ITS ASSOCIATED INSTALLATIONS. 5.1 The scope of work includes providing TECHNICAL MANPOWER SERVICES FOR EMRGENCY / SHUTDOWN JOBS of various terminals / different work points under NCR Gas -O&M offices of GAIL situated at different locations as mentioned in annexure. 5.2 The services will be provided based on the organizational requirement as assessed and identified from time to time. 5.3 In general the scope of Work shall be as per the instruction of EIC / SIC and as per the standard Engineering practices and relevant codes being followed for Natural Gas terminals and NG pipelines. 5.4 The nature of job is such that it will be staggered through out the contract period and the bidder has to mobilize sufficient manpower at a very short notice during plant shutdown/ Annual turn around or for other urgent job. 5.5 The Welder must be approved by EIL / MECON / PDIL / BAX / TRACTABEL .
