Fig. 76 and Fig. 77 show sample duty cycles <strong>for</strong> two randomly selected 100-mile segments<br />

corresponding to the Duals-Duals and NGSWBTs-NGSWBTs tire combinations, respectively. The<br />

fuel efficiencies calculated <strong>for</strong> these two 100-mile duty cycles correspond to one observation in each<br />

of the distributions shown in Fig. 72 to Fig. 75, respectively. Both correspond to freeway duty<br />

cycles; the first one representing operation under free-flow traffic conditions and the second one<br />

includes some traffic congestion intervals. The fuel consumed during these real-world duty cycles<br />

was used to compute one observation of the fuel efficiency <strong>for</strong> the two tire combinations.<br />
