e) When all SIC files have been saved to the specified folder, close<br />

the eDAQ web page.<br />

4) Convert to SIF files<br />

a) Open TCE.<br />

b) Go to File > Consolidate SIC Files.<br />

NOTE: Pay close attention to all message windows and the log<br />

file—these will give in<strong>for</strong>mation regarding what runs have been<br />

lost and how the missing data has been handled (in the case of<br />

a power failure with insufficiently charged backup battery).<br />

c) Locate the recovery folder containing the SIC files, select<br />

sif00000.sic, and click Open.<br />

d) Name the SIF file and save it in the desired location(s).<br />

5) To continue to use the eDAQ, the test must be reinitialized<br />

be<strong>for</strong>e starting a new run.<br />

9.1.4. Setting the FCS Time Zone and Clock<br />

These procedures begin with the eDAQ on and connected to the<br />

support computer. To avoid confusion, it is strongly recommended that<br />

the support computer and the eDAQ both be set <strong>for</strong> UTC (GMT).<br />

Setting the FCS Time Zone<br />

1) Open the eDAQ web page (http://192.168.100.100).<br />

2) Click on System.<br />

3) Under System Setup, click Timezone Setup.<br />

4) Scroll to select Etc/Universal -> Etc/UTC and click<br />

Set timezone.<br />
