Beaconsfield, Uxbridge and Harrow Railway (Abandonment) Act 1886<br />

9.159 The Beaconsfield, Uxbridge and Harrow Railway (Abandonment) Act 1886 314 was<br />

passed to authorise the Beaconsfield, Uxbridge and Harrow Railway Company to<br />

abandon proposed railways from Beaconsfield to Denham (both in<br />

Buckinghamshire) and from Harefield (now in the London Borough <strong>of</strong> Hillingdon)<br />

to Harrow-on-the-Hill (Middlesex). The railway had been authorised by the<br />

Beaconsfield, Uxbridge and Harrow Railway Act 1882. 315 The abandonment <strong>of</strong><br />

the railway project, together with the dissolution <strong>of</strong> the company pursuant to the<br />

1886 Act, means that the 1886 Act itself has now become obsolete.<br />

Radstock, Wrington and Congresbury Junction Railway (Abandonment) Act<br />

1886<br />

9.160 The Radstock, Wrington and Congresbury Junction Railway (Abandonment) Act<br />

1886 316 was passed to authorise the Radstock, Wrington and Congresbury<br />

Junction Railway Company to abandon a proposed railway in north Somerset<br />

between Farrington Gurney and Congresbury. The railway had been authorised<br />

by the Radstock, Wrington and Congresbury Junction Railway Act 1882. 317 The<br />

abandonment <strong>of</strong> the railway project, together with the dissolution <strong>of</strong> the company<br />

pursuant to the 1886 Act, means that the 1886 Act itself has now become<br />

obsolete.<br />

Midland and Central Wales Junction Railway (Abandonment) Act 1886<br />

9.161 The Midland and Central Wales Junction Railway (Abandonment) Act 1886 318<br />

was passed to authorise the Midland and Central Wales Junction Railway<br />

Company to abandon a proposed railway between Stokesay in Shropshire and<br />

Willenhall, near Wolverhampton. The railway had been authorised by the Midland<br />

and Central Wales Junction Railway Act 1883. 319 The abandonment <strong>of</strong> the<br />

railway project, together with the dissolution <strong>of</strong> the company pursuant to the 1886<br />

Act, means that the 1886 Act itself has now become obsolete.<br />

London, Hendon and Harrow Railway (Abandonment) Act 1887<br />

9.162 The London, Hendon and Harrow Railway (Abandonment) Act 1887 320 was<br />

passed to authorise the London, Hendon and Harrow Railway Company to<br />

abandon a proposed railway in the Harrow, Hendon and Hornsey areas <strong>of</strong><br />

London. The railway had been authorised by the London, Hendon and Harrow<br />

Railway Act 1883. 321 The abandonment <strong>of</strong> the railway project, together with the<br />

dissolution <strong>of</strong> the company pursuant to the 1887 Act, means that the 1887 Act<br />

itself has now become obsolete.<br />
