The OVS word order is perfectly acceptable in Classical <strong>Arabic</strong> but no longer occurs in<br />
MSA (Attia 2008).<br />
2.4.3 Clause<br />
A clause in <strong>Arabic</strong> may be simple or complex. A complex clause is <strong>for</strong>med by conjoining<br />
two simple clauses by subordinating conjunction, such as in Table 2.30.<br />
