Mayor Boyer announced that Michelle Thomas and John Mathis would be appointed<br />

the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for terms ending October 13, 2013.<br />

(C) Discuss and consider the appointment <strong>of</strong> one alternate member to the Zoning<br />

Board <strong>of</strong> Adjustments for unexpired term ending May 31, 2012.<br />

Mayor Boyer read the above and foregoing caption and noted that two applications<br />

had met the requirements for serving on the Zoning Board <strong>of</strong> Adjustments.<br />

Mayor Boyer announced that Susie Barrett was appointed to the Zoning Board <strong>of</strong><br />

Adjustments, as an alternate, for a term ending May 31, 2012. Mayor Boyer thanked<br />

Amber Briggs for her interest in serving.<br />

Public Hearing and consider approval <strong>of</strong> the first reading <strong>of</strong> an ordinance<br />

rezoning 47.97 acres located on the west side <strong>of</strong> Oak Run Parkway,<br />

approximately 2,000 feet north <strong>of</strong> Loop 337, from "R-1A-8(r83)" Single<br />

Family District with Restrictions to "Enclave at Westpointe Village Planned<br />

Development District" with Concept Plan.<br />

This item was pulled from the agenda at the request <strong>of</strong> the applicant. No action<br />

was taken.<br />

(E) Discuss and consider an appeal to the non-residential and multi-family design<br />

standards exterior building materials requirement for a proposed commercial<br />

building to be located at 241 Hunter's Village.<br />

Mayor Pro Tem Krueger motioned to approve the request. Councilmember Nolte<br />

seconded the motion. Councilmembers Ybarra and Digges recused themselves from the<br />

discussion and action. Vote was 5-0.<br />
