The revised ordinance does include an increase in fees for the Landa Park Golf Course. Historically, a 5%
increase in all golf fees has been incurred. This year, staff is recommending a $0.50 increase in daily
green fees and $1 .00 increase in cart fees. These increases equate to 3% for the daily fee and 8% for the -
cart fee. All other fees including annual passes, go-play passes, and trail fees are proposed to increase
5%.
Another change regarding golf fees is the reduction in the number of go-play pass combinations for sale.
Previously, go-play cards were offered in increments of 5 from 20 rounds through 80 rounds. Staff is
recommending only selling passes in increments of 20, 50 and 80 rounds. The majority of passes sold
were in these amounts, and in order to alleviate pricing confusion, staff feels these passes will be
satisfactory to our guests.
The Golf Advisory Board approved recommending these price increases on October 12, 2010.
Based on feedback provided from the City Council during the budget process, staff has developed a new
non-resident fee for all park reservations. A non-resident rate is 30% higher than the resident rate. A
summary of rentals from 2009 show that 46% of all rentals were by residents.
