RESOLUTION NO. 2010-R ___ _
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF · THE CITY OF NEW
BRAUNFELS, TEXAS, APPROVING A RECOMMENDATION OF THE NEW
BRAUNFELS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF NEW BRAUNFELS TO FUND THE
RENOVATION OF HANGAR 2317 AT THE NEW BRAUNFELS MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $169,101; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

WHEREAS, the City of New Braunfels Industrial Development Corporation
("I DC") Board of Directors met on October 21, 2010, to consider a request from
the City of New Braunfels for consideration of its request for the IDC to fund
renovations to Hangar 2317 at the New Braunfels Municipal Airport so as to raise
the eave height by eight (8') feet; and
WHEREAS, the IDC Board of Directors held a public hearing on October
21, 2010, to solicit public comment with regard to the City of New Braunfels'
request; and
WHEREAS, the IDC Board of Directors, after discussing the request,
voted to approve entering into a contract with the City of New Braunfels for the
renovations to Hangar 2317 at the New Braunfels Municipal Airport in the amount
of $169,101; and
WHEREAS, the $169,101 will be a grant to the City of New Braunfels and
will be paid from the $400,000 that the IDC Board of Directors set aside for
airport improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the recommendation of the New Braunfels Industrial
Development Corporation to fund renovations to Hangar 2317 at the New Braunfels
Municipal Airport with a grant in the amount of $169,101 in order to increase the
eave height of the hanger by eight (8') feet is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall become effective from and after
the date of its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 8 1 h day of November, 2010.
