Trail Recommendations 81 DRAFT FOR DISCUSSION Dry Comal Trail Extension Currently the Dry Coma! Nature Trail encircles the Loop 337 Baseball Fields. However, this trail can be extended and follow along the Dry Coma! Creek connecting to the heart of the city. The trail is proposed to follow the Dry Coma! Creek from the existing Dry Coma! trail to Landa Park. This trail will create a linear park along an natural greenbelt. Portions of development of this trail may require easements or right-of-way acquisition. Benefiting Sector(s): West side of New Braunfels Low Cost Range: $850,000 High Cost Range: $1,700,000 Priority Level: High Proposed Trail Surface: Asphalt or concrete in flood prone sections (because of potential for flood damage). Crushed granite can be used in non-flood prone sections.
