ORDINANCE NO. 2010-__
An ordinance amending ordinance number 75-10 dated April 28, 1975
to approve installation of the traffic control devices (stop signs) on
Kuehler Avenue at the entrance to Camp Comal and on Mission Hills
Drive at Evergreen Lane providing a severability clause; and
declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, after engineering and field investigation, the City Engineer has
recommended that traffic control signs be installed on certain streets, avenues,
thoroughfares and boulevards within the corporate limits of the City of New Braunfels in
order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS:
I.
THAT Ordinance Number 75-10 dated April 28, 1975, is hereby amended to
authorize the installation of additional Traffic Control signs at the following location in
the corporate limits of the City of New Braunfels, Texas:
STOP SIGNS:
1111 On the SW corner of KUEHLER AVENUE at the entrance to CAMP
CO MAL
1112 On theSE corner of KUEHLER AVENUE at the entrance to CAMP
CO MAL
1113 On the exit from CAMP COMAL onto KUEHLER AVENUE
1114 On the NE corner of MISSION HILLS DRIVE at EVERGREEN LANE
1115 On the SW corner of MISSION HILLS DRIVE at EVERGREEN LANE
II.
THAT the Public Works Department is directed to obtain and install the traffic
control signs in the locations as set forth in this ordinance, and is directed to maintain
the signs in a manner that provides for the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of
New Braunfels.
