River Trail from Cypress Bend Park to County
Fairgrounds
New Braunfels has a very rare opportunity to provide a significantly scenic trail along the Guadalupe River
which will connect the Coma! County Fair Grounds to Cypress Bend Park. When along side the fair grounds,
users of the trail will be able to look down the bluffs and view the river below. When the trail crosses inside
Cypress Bend Park, trail users will have the opportunity to walk right along side the river, stopping at their
leisure to enjoy this rare and natural resource. The development of this trail will require agreement from the
County Fairgrounds for access to the corridor.

Proposed Trail Surface: Asphalt or concrete (because of the potential for flood damage)
Length: 2.0 miles +/-
