South Tributary Trail and Fischer Park<br />

The development <strong>of</strong> this trail will provide a key connection to many neighborhoods and schools.<br />

The trail will be along the drainage channel. It will connect many neighborhoods, schools, and parks such as<br />

H<strong>of</strong>fmann Park, Kraft Park and Fischer Park. The approximate length <strong>of</strong> the trail along South Tributary is 2<br />

miles, and the length throughout Fischer Park is 1.0 miles +/-.<br />

Benefiting Sector(s): Southeast sector<br />

Low Cost Range: $1,750,000<br />

High Cost Range: $2,500,000<br />

Priority Level: High<br />

Proposed Trail Surface: Concrete along the South Tributary; crushed granite or concrete throughout Fischer<br />

Park.<br />

Potential Funding Sources: general fund, certificates <strong>of</strong> obligation, revenue bonds, naming rights, sponsorships,<br />

TPWD grant opportunity. The Fischer Park trail will be built when the park is developed. The Fischer Park<br />

portion <strong>of</strong> the trail is estimated to cost $500,000 to $800,00 as configured by the Fischer Park Master Plan.<br />
