South Tributary Trail and Fischer Park
The development of this trail will provide a key connection to many neighborhoods and schools.
The trail will be along the drainage channel. It will connect many neighborhoods, schools, and parks such as
Hoffmann Park, Kraft Park and Fischer Park. The approximate length of the trail along South Tributary is 2
miles, and the length throughout Fischer Park is 1.0 miles +/-.
Benefiting Sector(s): Southeast sector
Low Cost Range: $1,750,000
High Cost Range: $2,500,000
Priority Level: High
Proposed Trail Surface: Concrete along the South Tributary; crushed granite or concrete throughout Fischer
Park.
Potential Funding Sources: general fund, certificates of obligation, revenue bonds, naming rights, sponsorships,
TPWD grant opportunity. The Fischer Park trail will be built when the park is developed. The Fischer Park
portion of the trail is estimated to cost $500,000 to $800,00 as configured by the Fischer Park Master Plan.
