The section on the UDC is difficult because of much scratching out and
interlineation. It suggests where matters stood finally though it is
not clear if it was formally adopted by both parties.

upon the appearance of the Traite de Documentation which was presented
to the Annual Meeting in Brussels of the IID Council in August
1934 (I Fasc. IV, (1934), 12), and by comments, such as G. A. de
Voogd's, on Otlet and La Fontaine as pioneers, made at the i!934 Copenhagen
conference (II, Fasc. IV (1935), at which Otlet's report called
«iL'IIB—IID, hier, aujourd'hui, demain» was read (II, Fasc. IV (1935),.
col. Ot 1—12), and a description of an impromptu address by Otlet at
the 1937 World Congress of Documentation in Paris (IV, Fasc. Ill
(1937) 9):
