Each study unit will take at least two hours. You are expected to study each unit and answer<br />

the tutor-marked assignments.<br />

7.0. THE MODULES<br />

The course is divided into three modules. The first module addresses the following dimensions of<br />

organisation behaviour; Management Perspectives; The Stuff of Organisational Behaviour;<br />

Principles and Practices in Organisations; Roles and Role Expectation; Management of Changes.<br />

It consists of five units (Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,). The second module deals with influencing forces of<br />

behaviour in an organisation including; Power and Control; The Concept of Status and<br />

Occupational Prestige; Perception; Personality Concept; Work Groups. The third and the last<br />

module consists of five units including; Communication in Organizations; Motivation;<br />

Motivational Processes; Money; Organisational Structure.<br />

8.0. ASSIGNMENT<br />

Each unit consists of at least one assignment which you are expected to do.<br />

9.0. ASSIGNMENT<br />

9.1. TUTOR-MARKED ASSIGNMENT<br />

You are expected to apply what you have learnt in the contents of the study unit to do the<br />

assignments and send them to your tutor for grading.<br />

9.2. FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION<br />

This will be done at the end of the course.<br />
