HPT should be acceptable for 2009-201 1. All components can meet 1165MVA based on current
installed.
Major Components core iron, stator, exciter, rotor can meet 1200 MVA. Other Aux. components
are under evaluation e.g. H2 gas cooler. Can scope prior to avoid. Blower should be OK by may
need to be modified. Bushings need to determine by June 8'.

Need to identify critical path efficiencies. Challenge 69 day duration target 58 days. Can a
midsection replacement be estimated?
Use 95'F for the gas SC Cooling
Siemens Engineering Comments
Turbine Rotor weight and TEGO Babbit.
Installed on similar type frame supports.
Babbit will support higher loads and temps. No new bearings required if needed will be included
by Siemens not PGN.
Generator frame design can meet 75 psig requirement. Original design 60 psig. Seal oil system
Mods are included in base price.
Laser alignment of LPT Included
Gen Alignment should be included
HP needs to be checked
New Canto nary Curves will require alignment
Generator exciter front foot alignment.
300 amp rating power amp drawers need to be verified @ 1200 MVA and single failure capability
to carry full excitation.
Do not anticipate TGV control problems with full arc control.
Need generator Neutral analyzed for shorts transients. Protective relay set points will be provided.
