1910.95 HEARING PROTECTION
Wear approved hearing protection in areas 285 dBA. These areas will be designated or posted:
"Caution Hearing Protection Required"
The entire Turbine Building is designated a "Hearing Protection Required" area during operation.
Due to varying plant conditions, there may be times when hearing protection will be required in
areas not posted as "Hearing Protection Required".
Due to very high noise levels, some plant areas will require two (2) sets of hearing protection. This
will consist of one set of earplugs AND earmuffs. These areas will be designated by signs stating:
"Caution - Double Hearing Protection Required"
