Clicking on a Display name under the History header (e.g., iMac) will allow the user to review past results of Calchecks <br />
for the monitor. The window shows a sort list of previous Calcheck results, with the time and date the Calcheck was <br />
performed and the Calcheck Chart used. Selecting a history item will display a summary or the detailed results. <br />
Calcheck history within the Displays application is only kept for a period of 30 days from creation for each history item <br />
Ambient <br />
By clicking on the Ambient header, the option to select a supported <br />
Spectrophotometer becomes available to measure the ambient (cd/m 2 ) <br />
and white point (K) of the light source, e.g., a light booth or room. <br />
• Instrument (offline/online) / Instrument Name – Displays the <br />
currently activated instrument. <br />
• Measure – Select from the list of supported ambient-‐mode <br />
Spectrophotometers to use for measurement. <br />
Note: For some Spectrophotometers, after initial instrument calibration, <br />
an ambient light filter will need to be attached before measurement. <br />
The lower, white area displays constantly updated measurements. <br />
Light Booth <br />
By clicking on the Light Booth header (when available), any currently connected <br />
light booths will be shown. <br />
Each connected light booth shows information on: <br />
• Name/Model <br />
• Driver <br />
• Driver <strong>Version</strong> <br />
Clicking on a light booth name under the header will make calibration options <br />
available for the booth. These include: <br />
• Brightness – Choose to set the brightness level in either: <br />
o Candela – Brightness in cd/m 2 <br />
o Set the level from 0-‐100% <br />
• Instrument (offline/online) / Instrument Name – Displays the <br />
currently activated instrument. <br />
o Instrument – Select which supported <br />
Spectrophotometer is to be used for the light booth <br />
calibration. <br />
o Adjust – Click this button to calibrate the brightness of <br />
the selected booth. Follow any onscreen instructions. <br />
Note: For some Spectrophotometers, after initial instrument calibration, an ambient light filter will need to be attached <br />
before placing it in the booth and commencing the booth adjustment. <br />
