Wastewater Treatment - Northwest WRF - Aeration Basin Structural Repairs 400,000<br />

This project will make structural repairs to the concrete walls, support beams, and pilings in the north aeration basin with<br />

coating repairs to the walls of the north aeration and chlorine contact basins.<br />

Wastewater Treatment - Northwest WRF - Dewatering <strong>Improvement</strong>s (Belt-Filter Press Repl) 1,563,000<br />

This project supports the replacement and improvement of the biosolids dewatering facility converting to newer and more<br />

efficient technologies. <strong>Operating</strong> Impact: <strong>FY12</strong> - ($9,266).<br />

Wastewater Treatment - Northwest WRF - <strong>Improvement</strong>s - Disinfect Basin 250,000<br />

This project includes the repair of channel walls and improvements to increase disinfection efficiency.<br />

Wastewater Treatment - Northwest WRF - <strong>Improvement</strong>s - Electrical Rehabilitation 2,674,000<br />

This project consists of improvements or replacements of electical equipment throughout the NWWRF including, but not<br />

limited to, the main circuit breakers, motor control centers (MCCs), wiring, and other electrical equipment.<br />

Wastewater Treatment - Southwest WRF - Headworks & Screen Modifications 700,000<br />

This project involves improvements to the headworks grit and screening structure and includes adding a third bar screen to<br />

increase the hydraulic capacity of the headworks.<br />

Wastewater Treatment - Southwest WRF - Reject Water Piping and Pumping 960,000<br />

This project will enhance and improve the piping and pumping systems to allow reject water to be re-treated at the most<br />

efficient point in the plant. Rejected water can be sent to the head of the plant, the chlorine contact basin, or the effluent filters<br />

depending on the level of re-treatment required.<br />

Wastewater Treatment - Southwest WRF - <strong>Improvement</strong>s - Replace MCC-4B 100,000<br />

This project replaces a 1985 vintage motor control center (MCC) that provides electrical control for the belt filter presses<br />

(BFP).<br />

Reclaimed System <strong>Improvement</strong>s - Flushing Appurtenance 50,000<br />

This is a new program to replace blow off and air releases on the reclaimed water system.<br />

Reclaimed System <strong>Improvement</strong>s - New Reclaimed Serv. Taps & Backflows 75,000<br />

This is a continuing program to provide reclaimed water service taps and backflow devices to new and/or existing utility<br />

customers.<br />

Reclaimed System <strong>Improvement</strong>s - PCCP Replacement Phase II 2,000,000<br />

This project includes the repair and replacement of an existing 35-inch and 30-inch reclaimed water transmission main.<br />

Reclaimed System <strong>Improvement</strong>s - Reclaim Extensions 250,000<br />

This is a continuing program to expand the reclaimed system to serve additional customers.<br />

Reclaimed System <strong>Improvement</strong>s - Reclaimed Water Main Replacement 50,000<br />

This is a continuing program to provide for the replacement and/or upgrade of reclaimed water distribution lines 2" and larger<br />

within the City's service area.<br />
