City of St. Petersburg, Florida – FY 2012 Adopted Fiscal Plan
Non-refundable application fee deposits are required for all rentals at time of application and will be applied toward
the cost of t he rental. If event is cancelled by the user the fee is non-refundable. If cost of rental is less than
application fee deposit, the full rental fee will be due at the time of application and will be non-refundable.
Non-operating hour rentals / Holiday Rates: $20 per hour additional operating fees applicable to each rental;
minimum 2 hour rental. $30/hour staff fees on holidays.
Additional staff: If required (i.e. size of group 101 or more, special setup, event open to public) $20/hour per staff
person.

FEE SCHEDULE
FACILITY RENTALS AND FEES WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:

CATEGORY I
Fee Waiver Event
City approved Volunteer groups (i.e. Neighborhood Associations, other City Departments, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Youth
Sports or Crime Watch Organizations) and Pinellas County School Board groups in the “Joint Use” agreement are eligible to
have facility and equipment rental charges waived for events directly related to their primary purpose IF approved by the
Parks & Recreation Director. Direct costs will still apply (i.e. staff, utilities, special equipment).
CATEGORY II
Public Service Event
Any individual, group, or non-profit civic or charitable organization renting the facility for a public service event with no
charge or donations solicited.*
CATEGORY III
Social, Meeting or Athletic Event
Any individual, group, or religious organization renting the facility for a social, meeting, or athletic event. Any non-profit civic
or charitable group renting the facility to gain monetary benefits.* (i.e., church services, birthday parties, showers, etc.)
CATEGORY IV
Business Event
Any individual, commercial, or business group renting the facility to gain publicity, advertising or monetary benefits. (The
City retains the option to charge 20% of the gross revenue collected instead of said fees whichever is greater.)*
*Non-Resident or Non-City Groups will be charged $125 Non-Resident charge or $12.50 one month Non-Resident fee.
