2.1.5 The Lens Canopy provides shade for areas <strong>of</strong><br />
the Overwater Drive, Overwater Bridge and<br />
Promontory.<br />
2.2 Bike Path<br />
2.2.1 The bike path consists <strong>of</strong> a 10’ wide metalframed<br />
sloping pathway with concrete decking.<br />
2.2.2 The bike path will be designed according to<br />
AASHTO standards for mixed-use pathways.<br />
2.2.3 The bike path is a fully ADA accessible route and<br />
is intended to accommodate biking, jogging<br />
and other forms <strong>of</strong> active recreation.<br />
2.2.4 52” high aluminum guardrails will be provided<br />
on both sides <strong>of</strong> the bike path.<br />
2.3 Overlook Balconies<br />
2.3.1 The overlook balconies are 6’ wide, metal<br />
framed balconies and catwalks with corrosionresistant<br />
expanded metal mesh decking.<br />
2.3.2 52” high aluminum guardrails will be provided<br />
wherever necessary.<br />
2.3.3 The overlook balconies are accessible from the<br />
Promontory via an elevator or stairs.<br />
2.3.4 The overlook balconies are designed to provide<br />
visitors with incredible views <strong>of</strong> downtown <strong>St</strong>.<br />
<strong>Petersburg</strong> and Tampa Bay.<br />
2.4 Balcony Catwalks<br />
2.3.1 The balcony catwalks are 6’ wide, metal framed<br />
pathways with expanded metal decking that<br />
connect the balconies to the elevator and stair<br />
towers.<br />
2.3.2 52” high aluminum guardrails will be provided<br />
wherever necessary.<br />

3.2 Plumbing – None<br />
3.3 Electrical<br />
3.3.1 Architectural lighting will allow the top <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Canopy to be visible from the Uplands while<br />
allowing opportunities for light shows, movies,<br />
or a s<strong>of</strong>tly lit space.<br />
3.3.2 Lighting for special events will be provided.<br />
3.4 Technology – None<br />
