06011 In order to meet the needs of key stakeholders and of the broader international statistical community,<br />

the UIS will make better use of new technologies that enables the dissemination of statistical data,<br />

metadata and analysis to a wider public, more rapidly, efficiently, and in a more convenient form.<br />

Activities will focus on improving access to data and promoting data use, interpretation and analysis.<br />

Main line of action 2: Development of international statistics on<br />

education outcomes<br />

06012 As part of efforts to achieve Education for All, many countries have significantly improved access to<br />

basic education. However, there is growing recognition of the need to ensure that people have access to<br />

educational services as well as the opportunities to develop and sustain the knowledge and skills that<br />

these services are intended to provide.<br />
