Specializations are provided in two main areas:
• Automatics and process control systems, based on modern computer techniques and artificial
intelligence systems;
• Mechatronic systems
The courses are carried out in labs equipped
with modern computers, specialized
equipmemnt and software of leading
companies such as Moeller, ePLAN,
Siemens, Beckhoff, National Instruments,
ets.
There are five free - access computer rooms
which provide Internet connection for the
students.
The training cources include varios themes in the
area of modern information and control systems,
PLC programming and applications, CAD
systems, mechtronic systems and other actual
topics in the area of automatics, mechtronics,
information systems and process control.
The department of Automatics and
Mechatronics has established two Information
and Training Centers in collaboration with
„Moeller” and „ePLAN” companies. They
carry out treining of the students and
engineers and organiz thematic seminars for
students, teachers and users to discuss new
trends and applications of modern computer
and control systems.
The students receive profound knowledge and
wide spectrum subject skills in the area of
Automatics and Mechatronics. After their
graduation they can work in different fields of
Industry, Power Engineering, Communications,
Transport, Agriculture, etc.
