Faculty of EEEA<br />

Specializations are provided in two main areas:<br />

• Automatics and process control systems, based on modern computer techniques and artificial<br />

intelligence systems;<br />

• Mechatronic systems<br />

The courses are carried out in labs equipped<br />

with modern computers, specialized<br />

equipmemnt and software of leading<br />

companies such as Moeller, ePLAN,<br />

Siemens, Beckhoff, National Instruments,<br />

ets.<br />

There are five free - access computer rooms<br />

which provide Internet connection for the<br />

students.<br />

The training cources include varios themes in the<br />

area of modern information and control systems,<br />

PLC programming and applications, CAD<br />

systems, mechtronic systems and other actual<br />

topics in the area of automatics, mechtronics,<br />

information systems and process control.<br />

The department of Automatics and<br />

Mechatronics has established two <strong>Information</strong><br />

and Training Centers in collaboration with<br />

„Moeller” and „ePLAN” companies. They<br />

carry out treining of the students and<br />

engineers and organiz thematic seminars for<br />

students, teachers and users to discuss new<br />

trends and applications of modern computer<br />

and control systems.<br />

The students receive profound knowledge and<br />

wide spectrum subject skills in the area of<br />

Automatics and Mechatronics. After their<br />

graduation they can work in different fields of<br />

Industry, Power Engineering, Communications,<br />

Transport, Agriculture, etc.<br />
