unique entry-can be used in combination or alone. For example, <strong>the</strong> query<br />

[inpublisher:norton] returns almost 61 ,000 pages from books published by W. W.<br />

Norton. I can add to this query a keyword for a title, e.g., [inpublisher:o-reilly<br />

intitle:programming] to see how many books O'Reilly publishes with programming in<br />

<strong>the</strong> title. Or I can look for keywords occurring anywhere in a specific publisher's<br />

books: [inpublisher:o-reilly "network security"].<br />

To find public domain books that can be viewed using Google Books' Viewer and<br />

downloaded as PDFs, first restrict <strong>the</strong> search to "full view books" because all public<br />

domain books can be downloaded. However, <strong>the</strong> converse is not true: all full view<br />

books are not downloadable. How can you tell if a book can be downloaded? As of<br />

now, <strong>the</strong> only way to do so is to select <strong>the</strong> book and see if <strong>the</strong> Download PDF<br />

option appears, as it does here:<br />
