Graphical Adjustment-
Rather than entering specific numerical values, this method allows you to alter the
engine’s performance graphically.
To adjust the RPM of any given point, press and hold the Ctrl (Control) button on
the keyboard. Using the mouse, select the point to be modified. Hold down the
mouse button and drag the point to the desired location. When satisfied, release the
mouse button. As with the Numerical Adjustment, altering the RPM’s graphically
will also be reflected in the numerical values column.
You can adjust Torque in a similar manner. Click on the point to be modified. Hold
down the mouse button and drag the point vertically to the desired torque setting. To
finalize your setting, release the mouse button.
These methods allow you to modify single points along the curve. G3 also offers the
ability to perform a sweeping change to the RPM’s and torque settings. To do so,
click on the first point that you wish to modify. Next, hold the mouse button down
and move the mouse across the graph. The points will follow the movement of the
mouse.
Add Point-
This option is utilized to add points to the numerical and graphical charts. This
allows fine-tuning of the engine’s performance.
To add a point to the Torque Curve, click the Add Point button. Select the value
column for the Speed indicator and input the value for the desired RPM’s at which
you’d like the point to appear on the chart. Next, input the desired Torque value for
the new point. When completed, click OK.
