To select an airfoil, click the value for the existing airfoil. Next, click the more
options button (the gray folder with the ellipsis). This brings forth an alphabetically
organized list of airfoils for you to select.
Please note: if the airfoil at the tip is different from the airfoil at the root, the two
airfoils will blend along the length of the surface.
CYCLIC PITCH DEFLECTION (DEG)-
This setting indicates the amount of paddle deflection caused by a full cyclic pitch
input. A value of seven causes the paddles to deflect seven degrees positive and
seven degrees negative. This assumes that there is 100% servo travel in both
directions.
To modify this setting, click the respective value. Next, input the desired value
directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
CYCLIC ROLL DEFLECTION (DEG)-
This setting indicates the amount of paddle deflection caused by a full cyclic roll
input. A value of seven causes the paddles to deflect seven degrees positive and
seven degrees negative. This assumes that there is 100% servo travel in both
directions.
To modify this setting, click the respective value. Next, input the desired value
directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
FLAP ANGLE (MAX) (DEG--
This value represents the maximum angle that the paddles are allowed to flap freely,
in an upward direction, beyond the static coning angle before encountering resistance
from the hubs. For example, a value of five allows the paddles to flap upward by
