higher value stops the aircraft in a shorter distance; a lower value increases the
distance the aircraft rolls upon landing (with the brakes activated, of course).
CAMBER THRUST COEFFICIENT-
This setting controls the effect of the wheel’s camber on the lateral movement of the
wheel. A higher value means that this will have a more significant impact.
To adjust the camber thrust coefficient, click the existing value in the value box.
Next, enter the desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse
wheel.
COMPONENT FRAME (LEFT)-
This value represents the component frame of the item; in this case, the values for
the left wheel.
Clicking on the respective value column will bring forth the drop-down menu
selection of the various Component Frames.
COMPONENT FRAME (RIGHT)-
This value represents the component frame of the item; in this case, the values for
the right wheel.
Clicking on the respective value column will bring forth the drop-down menu
selection of the various Component Frames.
FRICTION COEFFICIENT-
As the name suggests, this setting is utilized to adjust the amount of friction for the
wheels. Higher values mean that the wheels exhibit more friction.
To adjust the friction, click the existing value in the value box. Next, enter the
desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
HAS WHEEL PANT-
This option determines whether the aircraft is equipped with wheel pants.
If the wheel pants are present, select Yes. If the aircraft is not equipped with wheel
pants, please select No. To make your selection, click the respective value box.
Select either Yes or No from the pull-down menu.
ROLLING RESISTANCE COEFFICIENT (%)-
This option is used to adjust the amount of resistance that the wheels exhibit when
rolling on the ground. A higher value means that the wheels offer more resistance to
forward movement.
To adjust the amount of resistance, click the existing value in the value box. Next,
enter the desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
ROTATION ABOUT Y (CAMBER) (DEG)-
This value indicates the angle of the wheel in relation to the landing gear.
To adjust the rotational degree about the Y-axis, click the existing value in the value
box. Next, enter the desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse
