CHORD AT ROOT-
This option adjusts the chord of the tail rotor at the root. The root of the tail rotor is
the section that is closest to the tail rotor hub.
To adjust the chord, click the existing value in the value box. Next, enter the desired
value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel. Larger values will
increase the chord of the tail rotor.
CHORD AT TIP-
This option adjusts the chord of the tail rotor at the tip. The tip of the tail rotor is the
section that is farthest from the tail rotor hub.
To adjust the chord, click the existing value in the value box. Next, enter the desired
value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel. Larger values will
increase the chord of the tail rotor.
DEFLECTION (CCW PIROUETTE) (DEG)-
This value determines the amount of deflection, expressed in degrees, that causes a
counter-clockwise pirouette of the helicopter.
To adjust the deflection, click the existing value in the value box. Next, enter the
desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
DEFLECTION (CW PIROUETTE) (DEG)-
This value determines the amount of deflection, expressed in degrees, that causes a
clockwise pirouette of the helicopter.
To adjust the deflection, click the existing value in the value box. Next, enter the
desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
DIAMETER-
This value determines the distance from the tip of one tail rotor blade to the tip of the
opposite tail rotor blade. This includes the tail rotor hub, etc.
To adjust the diameter, click the existing value in the value box. Next, enter the
desired value either directly from the keyboard or via the mouse wheel.
HUB GRAPHICAL NAME-
This setting determines the graphical representation of the hub utilized in the
simulation. Please note: this setting does not have an affect on the physics, only on
the appearance of the hub.
To select the desired hub graphic, click on the respective value. Using either the
up/down arrow keys on the keyboard, or the mouse, select the graphic for your
