Rafiq-ul-Haramayn 117
O Allah ! It is Your infinite favour that You have created me as
a human being, made me a Muslim and privileged me to be amongst
the followers of Your Beloved Prophet ٖ
. O Allah !
O Creator of the Noble Prophet ٖ
! How can I possibly
thank You You have granted me the opportunity to perform Hajj,
and today on the day of ‘Arafaĥ, You have granted me the privilege
to stay on the ground of ‘Arafāt.
Undoubtedly, Your Beloved and my Master ٖ
also came
here. How fortunate I am! I am present today in the same ground of
‘Arafāt that had the opportunity to kiss the blessed soles of the
Beloved Prophet ٖ
. Muslims from all parts of the
world have gathered here today, and certainly two of Your Prophets
Sayyidunā Ilyās and Sayyidunā Khiḍar
and many Awliyā
are also present. Therefore, O Creator of the Merciful Prophet
ٖ
! For the sake of the mercy which is descending upon
the Prophets
and the Awliyā
, shower at least a
tiny drop upon this sinful servant also.
يَا رَحْمٰ‏ ‏ُن يَا اَللّ‎‏ُ‏ ٰ
يَا حَنَّانُ‏ يَا مَنَّا ‏ُن
(Recite Labbayk thrice with Ṣalāt-‘Alan-Nabī once before and after it).
O Allah ! My inefficiency and weakness is apparent to You. I
am that slave who cannot bear heat and severe cold. You also know
that I cannot even bear the sting of a mosquito or flea and if even an
ant bites me, I become uncomfortable. You know that if an insect
gets under my garment it makes me jump. O my Allah ! Due to
sins, if I am surrounded by fire in my grave, what will I do If
snakes and scorpions entered my grave, what would I do O my
Allah Almighty ! Have mercy on me for the sake of the Beloved
Prophet ٖ
and save me from the afflictions of death,
