3. Although it is preferable to perform Ṭawāf-uz-Ziyāraĥ on 10 th<br />

Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥijjaĥ, it can also be performed on any of the three days by<br />

the sunset of 12 th Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥijjaĥ. As there is too much rush on 10 th<br />

Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥijjaĥ it is better to perform it on a convenient day. In this<br />

way, one can avoid facing troubles and causing troubles to others<br />

in some cases, intermingling with women, bumping against<br />

them and many other sins committed under the provocation of<br />

Satan and lower-self.<br />

4. Perform Ṭawāf in the state of Wuḍū with Satr-e-‘Awrat 1 f<strong>ul</strong>ly<br />

concealed.<br />

5. If a Qārin and a Mufrid have already performed Raml and Sa’ī<br />

for Hajj during Ṭawāf-<strong>ul</strong>-Qudūm, they are no longer required<br />

to perform them during Ṭawāf-uz-Ziyāraĥ. There is the same<br />

r<strong>ul</strong>ing for a Mutamatte’ if he has also performed Raml and Sa’ī<br />

for Hajj during a Nafl Ṭawāf after putting on the Iḥrām of Hajj.<br />

6. If one has not already performed Raml and Sa’ī for Hajj, he now<br />

has to perform them in sewn dress. However, Iḍṭibā’ will not be<br />

performed as it is no longer possible because of being in sewn<br />

dress.<br />

7. Whoever has not performed Ṭawāf on 11 th Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥijjaĥ can<br />

perform it on 12 th Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥijjaĥ. To delay Ṭawāf-uz-Ziyāraĥ<br />

without any Shar’ī reason so much that 12 th Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥijjaĥ has<br />

passed is a sin and the one delaying it will have to slaughter<br />

animal sacrifice as expiation. However, for example, if a woman<br />

suffers menses or post-natal bleeding so she will have to perform<br />

Ṭawāf after the menses have stopped. But if the menses or<br />

The forearms of most of women are exposed during Ṭawāf. If a woman performed four<br />

or more than four rounds of Ṭawāf-uz-Ziyāraĥ with one quarter of her forearm or the hair<br />

of one quarter of her head uncovered, Dam wo<strong>ul</strong>d become Wājib for her. However, if<br />

she repeats the Ṭawāf with her Satr covered the expiation will become void.
