<strong>Rafiq</strong>-<strong>ul</strong>-<strong>Haramayn</strong> 32<br />

مِي قَات [ Mīqāt 37.<br />

ۡ ]<br />

It refers to the place which cannot be passed by the Āfāqī, without<br />

Iḥrām, who is going to Makkaĥ whether for trading or for any other<br />

purpose. Even the residents of Makkaĥ going out of Mīqāt (e.g.<br />

Madīnaĥ or Ṭāif) are not permitted to re-enter Makkaĥ without<br />

Iḥrām.<br />

There are 5 Mīqāt<br />

ذ ۡ ‏ُو احلۡ‏<br />

] ۡ ‏ُلَي فه [ Ż<strong>ul</strong>-Ḥ<strong>ul</strong>ayfaĥ 38.<br />

It is approximately 10 kilometres away from Madīnaĥ towards<br />

Makkaĥ. It is the Mīqāt for those coming from the direction of<br />

Madīnaĥ. Its present name is ‘Abyār-e-‘Alī.’<br />

‏[ذَات عِر ۡ ق]‏ 39. Żāt ‘Irq<br />

It is the Mīqāt for those coming from the direction of Iraq.<br />

ي ] ۡ لَم لَم [ Yalamlam 40.<br />

It is the Mīqāt for those coming from the direction of Indo-Pak.<br />

] ه جُح ۡ ف َ [ Juḥfaĥ 41.<br />

It is the Mīqāt for those coming from the direction of Syria.<br />

‏َازِل]‏ 42. Qarn-<strong>ul</strong>-Manāzil<br />

‏َن<br />

‏[قَر ۡ نُ‏ ال ۡ م<br />

It is the Mīqāt for those coming from the direction of Najd (whose<br />

present name is Riyadh) which is near Ṭāif.
