Answer: Ṣadr-ush-Sharī’aĥ
has stated: It is a condition to
perform Sa’ī after the whole of or most part of Ṭawāf has been
performed. Therefore, if performed before Ṭawāf or after three
rounds of it, Sa’ī will not be valid. It is also a condition that Iḥrām
starts before Sa’ī whether it is the Iḥrām of Hajj or that of ‘Umraĥ.
In short, Sa’ī cannot be performed before Iḥrām. If someone performs
the Sa’ī of Hajj before the ritual stay in ‘Arafaĥ, it is a condition to
perform Sa’ī in the state of Iḥrām. If he performs Sa’ī after the ritual
stay in ‘Arafaĥ, it is a Sunnaĥ in this case to perform Sa’ī after he has
taken off Iḥrām. As for the Sa’ī of ‘Umraĥ, it is Wājib to perform it
in Iḥrām. That is, if he gets his head shaved after Ṭawāf and then
performs Sa’ī, the Sa’ī will be valid but Dam will be Wājib because
of missing a Wājib act. (Baĥār-e-Sharī’at, vol. 1, pp. 1109)
Whether these actions are done to a woman or an Amrad [a beardless
beautiful boy] there is the same ruling. (Durr-e-Mukhtār, Rad-dul-Muḥtār,
vol. 3, pp. 667) If the wife who is in the state of Iḥrām also feels lust
during these actions of her husband, she will also have to pay Dam.
(Baĥār-e-Sharī’at, vol. 1, pp. 1173)
Question 2: If someone has lustful thoughts or looks at someone
else’s private part and ejaculates, what will be the expiation
