126 of this book.) After throwing stones, move ahead a little, shift
towards the left a bit and, whilst facing the Qiblaĥ, lift hands
up to shoulders with palms not facing the sky but Qiblaĥ 1 and
remain busy with Du’ā and Istighfār for as long as 20 (Quranic)
verses can be recited.
3. Perform Ramī at Jamra-tul-Wusṭā in the same way.
4. Finally, perform Ramī at Jamra-tul-‘Aqabaĥ as you did on the
10 th of Żul-Ḥijjaĥ. Remember that you don’t have to stay there
after the Ramī of Jamra-tul-‘Aqabaĥ. Instead, you are to return
immediately making Du’ā. (This is the correct method but now
it is not possible to return instantly. Therefore, move ahead
somewhat after you have thrown stones and then take a U-turn.)
5. Perform Ramī at all the three Satans in the same way on 12 th
Żul-Ḥijjaĥ.
6. The time for the Ramī of 11 th and 12 th Żul-Ḥijjaĥ starts from the
declining of the sun (i.e. right after the commencement of the
timings of Ṣalāt-uẓ-Ẓuĥr). So the Ramī of the 11 th of Żul-Ḥijjaĥ
and 12 th Żul-Ḥijjaĥ is not valid at all before the commencement
of the timing of Ṣalāt-uẓ-Ẓuĥr.
7. It is Sunnaĥ to spend nights (more than half of the night-time)
of the 10 th , 11 th , and 12 th of Żul-Ḥijjaĥ in Minā.
8. After performing Ramī on 12 th Żul-Ḥijjaĥ, you are at liberty to
move to Makkaĥ before sunset. If the sun sets whilst you were
