T H E Christian Nation is published to secure the acceptance
of the Word of God by Individuals and Nations as their
Rule of Life, the Basis of Law, and the one eflicient
uplifting power for all races of men. We desire to hear from
and cooperate with all persons, everywhere, who are working
for the same «nd.
It is the first, the oificially endorsed, and now the only weekly
paper in the Reformed Presbyterian (Covenanter) Church
in North America and its dominant purpose is loyalty to the
Lord Jesus Christ.
We can make use of all clippings, statistics, information
or short and pointed contributions on any or all of the following
subjects:
1st. Favoring the recognition of the Sovereignty of Jesus
Christ and of God's moral law in civil government.
2nd. Favoring the exclusive use of the Bible Psalms and
the exclusion of instrumental music in worship.
3rd. Favoring especially the public and private observance
of God's Commandment to "Remember the Sabbath day to keep
it holy."
4th. Favoring Peace and Arbitration.
5th. Favoring the repeal of the Cliinese Exclusion Law.
6th. Opposing the theatre, card playing and dancing.
7th. Opposing tbe use of alcohol as a beverage and of
tobacco and all narcotics in any form.
Sth. Opposing all oath-bound secret organizations and
school fraternities.
