The Unit conducts all Phases of clinical trials except Phase IV (i.e., Phases 0, I, II, and III). They accrue approximately
400 patients and open and complete approximately 40 trials per year. The facility has no
independent URL.
Unit staffing is as follows:

**Deal with data entry, regulatory issues, and REB submissions.
Quality control/ assurance procedures are based on extensive BCCA Standard Operating Procedures compliant
with Good Clinical Practice guidelines. All projects are approved by the REB prior to initiation and all
research staff are trained appropriately in GCP and clinical trials.
