MUSIC MINOR<br />

The School of Music offers a minor in music consisting of eighteen<br />

credit hours. Courses comprising the eighteen hours for a minor in music<br />

are selected from those listed on the following pages and are designed to<br />

create a balanced musical experience. Thus, students complete the minimum<br />

indicated from each category: Music Theory, 3-8 hours; Applied<br />

Music, 4-6 hours; Ensemble, 2-4 hours; Conducting, 2-4 hours; Church<br />

Music, 2-4 hours. The student desiring to minor in music should request<br />

an advisor from the Music Office.
