LEE UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION<br />
From its early beginnings in 1918, <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> has enriched the<br />
lives of thousands of alumni. Decades of tradition become an inseparable<br />
part of all who enter here. <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> has been for many an<br />
unforgettable and life-changing experience.<br />
Reminiscing about Bible Training School, <strong>Lee</strong> Academy, <strong>Lee</strong> Junior<br />
College, <strong>Lee</strong> College and <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> is at the heart of the Alumni<br />
Association. Upholding the traditions of our past and preparing for the<br />
hopes of tomorrow are the foundation on which we stand. Nurturing<br />
alumni loyalty, building lifelong relationships and cultivating alumni<br />
support ensures the very standard of excellence by which all <strong>Lee</strong> alumni<br />
are united.<br />
Statement of Purpose<br />
The <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> Alumni Association exists for all who have been<br />
educated at Bible Training School, <strong>Lee</strong> Academy, <strong>Lee</strong> Junior College, <strong>Lee</strong><br />
College and <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>. Its purpose is to provide fellowship for its<br />
members and to cultivate support for and loyalty to the <strong>University</strong>.<br />
Constitution and Bylaws<br />
The <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> Alumni Association is governed by a published<br />
Constitution and Bylaws written by alumni representatives and ratified<br />
by the university administration.<br />
Chapter Officers<br />
Chapter officers serve regional and state chapters. These officers<br />
play a major role in the promotion and support of <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />
through national and state sponsored projects. Current chapters include<br />
Alabama; South Carolina; Del-MarVa-DC; Eastern North Carolina;<br />
Florida State; Florida-Tampa Bay; Georgia (North); Georgia (South);<br />
Kentucky; Rocky Mountain; Virginia; and West Virginia.<br />
Homecoming Weekend<br />
The most important campus-wide weekend of the fall semester is<br />
Homecoming when alumni from around the world are welcomed back<br />
to their alma mater. Held the first weekend of each November, the<br />
schedule includes class reunions, club and organization anniversaries,<br />
specialty reunions, athletic competitions, drama productions and the<br />
music festival - a traditional highlight of the weekend.
