sports for both men and women attract a large percentage of students<br />
who compete individually and as members of class, club, dormitory, or<br />
independent teams. In addition to team sports like softball, volleyball,<br />
soccer, basketball and football, many individual sports are provided (i.e.<br />
table tennis, bowling, aerobics, pickleball, racquetball).<br />
Students and their spouses may participate in intramural contests by<br />
paying the Intramural Activity Fee and registering for the events of their<br />
choice. The fee must be paid each semester a student wishes to compete.<br />
The DeVos Recreation Center provides a wide range of social and<br />
recreational opportunities. These opportunities include TV viewing,<br />
weight and physical fitness equipment, racquetball, and games such as<br />
table tennis, air hockey and billiards.<br />

Music Groups<br />
Music is an important part of life at <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>. Whether a music<br />
major or just fond of music, students have the opportunity to become<br />
part of a choral group, a small ensemble, or an instrumental group.<br />
The <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> music groups provide a wide range of spiritual<br />
and cultural experiences for their members. These groups minister in<br />
churches, schools, and concert halls both in this country and abroad.<br />
Both music majors and non-music majors are encouraged to audition for<br />
one of the following groups: Campus Choir, Chorale, Choral Union,<br />
Evangelistic Singers, Ladies of <strong>Lee</strong>, <strong>Lee</strong> Singers, <strong>Lee</strong> Players, Pep Band,<br />
Voices of <strong>Lee</strong>. Chapel Choir, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensembles welcome<br />
participation without auditions.<br />
Drama Groups<br />
The <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> Theater Program offers students an opportunity to<br />
develop artistic excellence through individual attention, a wide variety of<br />
technical and performance opportunities, and outstanding facilities.<br />
Students are involved in musicals such as “Annie,” “The Sound of<br />
Music,” and “Fiddler on the Roof”; dramas including “Romeo and Juliet,”<br />
“The Miracle Worker,” and “The Crucible”; and comedies such as<br />
“Arsenic and Old Lace.” In addition, <strong>Lee</strong> has an active Drama Club which<br />
provides entertainment for on- and off-campus events, and a ministry<br />
troupe which performs in chapel and travels throughout the nation ministering<br />
in worship services and conducting drama ministry seminars.<br />
STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS<br />
<strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> provides more than fifty student clubs and organizations<br />
designed to enhance the student’s spiritual, intellectual, and social<br />
development. Membership in these groups is voluntary. Some organizations<br />
have open membership while others are by invitation only. Among<br />
