Heinrich Christoph Woodson Science<br />
Memorial Scholarship was established by the<br />
family and friends of Heinrich Woodson.<br />
Applicants must be full-time students at <strong>Lee</strong>.<br />
First consideration will be given to individuals<br />
who have a disability and who are<br />
enrolled in the Department of Natural<br />
Sciences and Mathematics. No recipient<br />
shall receive the scholarship for more than<br />
eight (8) semesters.<br />
STATE ALUMNI CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS<br />
State Alumni Chapter Scholarship funds are available from the following<br />
State Alumni Associations: Florida, Georgia (North), Georgia (South),<br />
Delmarva-D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia.<br />
These State Alumni Scholarships have been established by each State<br />
Alumni Association. Selection of the scholarship recipients will be made by<br />
the <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> Student Aid Committee from recommendations received<br />
from the State Alumni Associations. Application for these scholarships<br />
should be made through the respective state alumni chapters.<br />
INSTITUTIONAL LOAN PROGRAMS<br />
Collection Procedures Due Diligence Program<br />
Statement of Purpose:<br />
<strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> is genuinely concerned that the students of this institution<br />
have accessible to them an appropriate short-term loan program. It is a<br />
requirement of the <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> institution to establish active procedures<br />
insuring the repayment of temporarily lent funds. As good stewards, efficiency<br />
and due diligence are essential to quality institutional programs, utilizing<br />
the Due Diligence Program of Collections as outlined by the National<br />
Association of Secondary School Financial Aid Administrators and the<br />
National Association of College and <strong>University</strong> Business Officers. The collection<br />
procedure will be administered systematically, uniformly, and with<br />
empathy and compassion. Individual cases that warrant extraordinary actions<br />
of deference will be reviewed with Christian care.<br />
Winters Foundation Revolving Fund Program<br />
Due to an initial contribution from Dan and Mary Nell Winters, <strong>Lee</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> established a Winters Foundation Loan Program. Any enrolled<br />
student with bona fide need may apply for a short- term 90-day loan. A graduated<br />
service charge of $5.00 for $100.00, $10.00 for $200.00, and $12.50 for<br />
$250.00 is applied.<br />

Foundation Revolving Student Loan Fund<br />
The C.I.O.S. Foundation Revolving Student Loan Fund was established<br />
by a grant from the Piper Family of Memphis, Tennessee. The C.I.O.S.<br />
Foundation Revolving Student Loan Fund will make available a $1,000
