Planning with LDA/LDC4.2 System components● The 4-pole LD.14.. to LD.34.. systems are always in PEN = L.● The 5-pole LD.16.. to LD.36.. systems are always in PE + N = L.● The 5-pole LD.46.. to LD.86.. systems are always in PE = ½ L.● There is a choice between N/PEN = ½ L and N/PEN = L for LD.4... to LD.8... systems.● See also the next section "Sizes and structure of the busbar package".Selection exampleA rated current of 2500 A is calculated for a project. Aluminium conductors shall be used. A4-pole system has to be used. The cross section of the protective conductor needs to beequal to the cross section of the phase conductor. The required degree of protection is IP34.The installation position is horizontal, edgewise, without height rises. Use of the above tableresults in the selection of the following type:LDA 54234.2.3 Sizes, conductor configurations and structure of the busbar packageThe LD busbar trunking system is available in two sizes.
