<strong>Planning</strong> <strong>with</strong> LRC6.2 System components6.2.3 System sizes and structureSizesThe sizes are dependent upon the rated current rating. In total, there are nine sizes. Sixsizes are set up as single systems and three as double systems.Single systems comprise one enclosure <strong>with</strong> between 4 and 5 copper bars. Double systemshave between 8 and 10 bars in two enclosures.The precise number of bars is determined by the required conductor configuration.Structure of the busbarsThe bars in the LRC busbar system are not surface-treated. The conductors are made ofcopper.1Copper bar (LRC)LRC busbar systemMounting positions and rated currentThe potted construction means that the current-effected heat rise of the LRC busbar systemis not affected by the mounting position. This guarantees high flexibility for positioning thebusbar runs.
