This service is turned on bydefault in earlier versions of Windows. However, it is disabled by default on WindowsServer 2008.In addition, when User Service is installed on Windows Server 2008, and you areusing Active Directory in mixed mode, you must configure User Service with domainrights to access information from Active Directory.If you are running User Service on Linux and using Active Directory 2008, additionalconfiguration is required.
