Key project objectives:<br />

• Lower cost to connect generation<br />

• Accelerate the time to connect generation<br />

• Reduce CMLs and CIs<br />

• Facilitate the connection of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) generation to enable the supply of<br />

heat in new developments in Birmingham.<br />

The carbon benefits are associated with low carbon generation offsetting carbon generation and the<br />

provision of heat offsetting the direct use of gas in properties.<br />
