The EFTA Court was set up under the Agreement on the European Economic Area (the EEA Agreement) of 2 May 1992. The EEA Agreement entered into force on 1 January 1994. The EFTA Court is composed of three judges. The EFTA States which are parties to the EEA Agreement are iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. This report contains information on the EFTA Court and the administration of the Court for the period from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2011. in addition, it has a short section on the Judges and the staff and the Court’s activities in 2011.
