EXIT Terminates program execution Example Syntax EXIT is used to terminate program execution. Program restart will then be blocked, i.e. the program can only be restarted from the first instruction of the main routine (if the start point is not moved manually). The EXIT instruction should be used when fatal errors occur or when program execution is to be stopped permanently. The Stop instruction is used to temporarily stop program execution.
