The pile is drilled to the calculated or proven depth; the shaft is then reversed and extracted
while concrete is simultaneously pumped under pressure into the helical void that remains.
Once the auger is totally extracted, reinforcement can be pushed into the concrete as a
single bar or cage (Photograph 3.9).
