APPLIED TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT SCHOOL OF ERDEMLİ<br />
General Information<br />
Having the feature of being the first college among public universities, our<br />
vocational school started its education in 2005 in “Business Information<br />
Management” and “Computer Technology and Information Systems”<br />
departments, and gave its first graduates in 2010.<br />
In Business Information Management Department, it is aimed to train<br />
manager candidates who have business management and management<br />
skills, equipped with professional, technical and practical information, and<br />
who can use information and communication technologies effectively.<br />
The aim of Computer Technology and Information Systems department<br />
is to educate individuals with the skills and knowledge of designing,<br />
managing and developing the computer-based systems and programs.<br />
In our departments, it is aimed to provide a practical training in<br />
cooperation with the industry based on the principles of creating “social<br />
benefit” and “local development”.<br />
We have 545 students, including 266 students enrolled in the Business<br />
Information Management Department, 240 students enrolled in the<br />
Computer Technology and Information Systems Department, and 39<br />
students in the Business Information Management Department.<br />
Academic and Administrative Staff Information<br />
We have 12 teaching staff. 1 Professor doctor, 4 Associate Professor<br />
Doctor, 4 Dr. Lecturer Member, 3 Lecturer. 4 of them are assigned to<br />
other units according to article 13 / b-4 of the Higher Education Law<br />
No. 2547. In addition, according to article 13 / b-4 of Higher Education<br />
Law No. 2547 A lecturer has been appointed in our school from other<br />
units. We have 12 administrative staff, 1 Chief, 2 Computer Operators,<br />
1 VHKI, 1 Health Technician, 2 janitor, 5 Permanent Workers.<br />
Opportunities for Students<br />
Our graduates do not have any difficulties in establishing their own<br />
businesses and finding a job both in private and public institutions, as<br />
they are equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills<br />
Every year, “Business and Technology Summit” is organised to provide<br />
students the opportunities to find academic, professional and market<br />
developments as well as to find jobs.<br />
In addition, panels, seminars and conferences are also organized. There<br />
are physical facilities for our students to spend time in 2800m2 garden<br />
and 150m2 canteen.<br />
For the students, it is aimed to benefit from all social and cultural<br />
facilities within the campus. They can also benefit from the laboratories<br />
and the library in our college in their free times.<br />
Students are informed about the announcements, and developments<br />
via student affairs information system and boards.<br />
Students are informed at the beginning of each semester about regulations and<br />
internship practices. Students with a course conflict are given the opportunity<br />
to take courses from other departments so their graduations are provided<br />
Postgraduate Education Opportunities<br />
Our School of Business Information Management started its Master’s<br />
degree in 2010 and 31 students have graduated so far. Currently, 39<br />
students continue their education.<br />
