APPLIED TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT SCHOOL OF ERDEMLİ
General Information
Having the feature of being the first college among public universities, our
vocational school started its education in 2005 in “Business Information
Management” and “Computer Technology and Information Systems”
departments, and gave its first graduates in 2010.
In Business Information Management Department, it is aimed to train
manager candidates who have business management and management
skills, equipped with professional, technical and practical information, and
who can use information and communication technologies effectively.
The aim of Computer Technology and Information Systems department
is to educate individuals with the skills and knowledge of designing,
managing and developing the computer-based systems and programs.
In our departments, it is aimed to provide a practical training in
cooperation with the industry based on the principles of creating “social
benefit” and “local development”.
We have 545 students, including 266 students enrolled in the Business
Information Management Department, 240 students enrolled in the
Computer Technology and Information Systems Department, and 39
students in the Business Information Management Department.
Academic and Administrative Staff Information
We have 12 teaching staff. 1 Professor doctor, 4 Associate Professor
Doctor, 4 Dr. Lecturer Member, 3 Lecturer. 4 of them are assigned to
other units according to article 13 / b-4 of the Higher Education Law
No. 2547. In addition, according to article 13 / b-4 of Higher Education
Law No. 2547 A lecturer has been appointed in our school from other
units. We have 12 administrative staff, 1 Chief, 2 Computer Operators,
1 VHKI, 1 Health Technician, 2 janitor, 5 Permanent Workers.
Opportunities for Students
Our graduates do not have any difficulties in establishing their own
businesses and finding a job both in private and public institutions, as
they are equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills
Every year, “Business and Technology Summit” is organised to provide
students the opportunities to find academic, professional and market
developments as well as to find jobs.
In addition, panels, seminars and conferences are also organized. There
are physical facilities for our students to spend time in 2800m2 garden
and 150m2 canteen.
For the students, it is aimed to benefit from all social and cultural
facilities within the campus. They can also benefit from the laboratories
and the library in our college in their free times.
Students are informed about the announcements, and developments
via student affairs information system and boards.
Students are informed at the beginning of each semester about regulations and
internship practices. Students with a course conflict are given the opportunity
to take courses from other departments so their graduations are provided
Postgraduate Education Opportunities
Our School of Business Information Management started its Master’s
degree in 2010 and 31 students have graduated so far. Currently, 39
students continue their education.
