<strong>Mersin</strong> <strong>University</strong> Faculty of Sport Sciences, since its establishment,<br />
has been one of Turkey’s leading academic institutions both<br />
undergraduate and graduate education and in scientific studies.<br />
In our faculty;<br />
• Physical Education and Sports Teaching,<br />
• Coaching Education,<br />
• Sports Management,<br />
• Recreation (Formal and Secondary Education) departments<br />
are available and students are admitted with a special talent<br />
exam.<br />
Our Faculty serves education and training services at Çiftlikköy<br />
Campus with its 7,000 m² service building. There are 3 laboratories<br />
including Performance, Motor Learning, Athlete Performance<br />
Analysis Laboratory, 8 classrooms, 1 seminar room (50 people<br />
capacity), library (20 people capacity). In addition to these; there<br />
are 5 sports halls, 1 stadium, 3 power development center, 10<br />
tennis courts, 1 table tennis hall, 1 gymnasium, 1 dance hall, 3<br />
football fields, 3 outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, 1 beach<br />
volleyball court, an indoor swimming pool.<br />
In our faculty complex, there are 8 classrooms,1 athlete<br />
performance analysis laboratory, 1 exercise physiology laboratory,<br />
1 massage room, 1 meeting room, 1 library, 1 seminar room, 1<br />
graduate study room, 3 indoor sports halls, 1gymnasium, 1 dance<br />
hall, 3 strength development centres, 10 tennis courts, 3 outdoor<br />
