The Purpose of Mersin University Young Entrepreneur Application
and Research Center
The main purpose of Mersin University Young Entrepreneur
Application and Research Center is to make Mersin a center
of attraction, to contribute to the execution and support of
entrepreneurship activities both at regional and national levels, and to
raise the young generation employers rather than job seekers.
Other Purposes
• Improving the entrepreneurship environment of the region,
• To spread the entrepreneurship culture in Mersin Province,
• Encouraging university graduates, students and academicians
to engage in innovation and technology-based initiatives,
• Developing the skills and competencies of young entrepreneur
candidates and providing the necessary connections for their
ventures to be successful,
• To lead researches that will improve the limits of knowledge in
entrepreneurship and innovation.
• Mersin University Young Entrepreneur Application and
Research Center;
• It takes measures to facilitate and encourage university
and private sector cooperation, and acts as a bridge by
creating interfaces. In this context, Mersin University Young
Entrepreneur Application and Research Center pays attention
to the restructuring of higher education, encouraging the R&D
and entrepreneurship activities of academicians and students.
• It increases the institutional capacities and cooperation levels of
all institutions and organizations that provide services and
support in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
• In providing entrepreneurship supports, it prioritizes women,
young entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, as well
as criteria such as innovation, productivity and employment
increase, growth, joint business.
