AQUACULTURE
General Information
Faculty of Aquaculture was established in 1992 with the law numbered 3837 and it has started education in Çiftlikköy
Campus with 30 students in the 1995-1996 academic year.
It moved from Çiftlikköy Campus to Yenişehir Campus at the end of the fall semester of the 2000-2001 academic
year and still carries out education, training, research and application activities on the same campus.
Within the academic structuring, Faculty of Aquaculture consists of four departments as Basic Sciences, Aquaculture,
Fishing and Processing Technology and Aquacultural Engineering. However, undergraduate level educational
activities are carried out in a single program called as “Aquacultural Engineering”.
The language of education in our faculty is Turkish and the Education Program is completed in 4 years. The students
who graduate from our faculty receive the title of “Aquacultural Engineer”.
