Within the framework of the Faculty of Pharmacy Core Curriculum, a 5-year Undergraduate program has been implemented in our
Faculty since the academic year of 2005-2006. In our faculty, an education model in accordance with national and international norms
is applied in line with the Bologna Process. In our faculty, besides educational activities, qualified scientific researches and projects
are carried out by faculty members, and their results are presented in national and international scientific meetings and published in
scientific journals. Our faculty has a total usage area of 1512 square meters, and its education and training activities are carried out with
classrooms, student and research laboratories, meeting room, library, reading / study rooms and practice pharmacy located in Mersin
University Yenişehir Campus B and C blocks.
Academic and Administrative Personnel Information
Undergraduate and postgraduate education in our faculty is carried out by 13 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 8 Doctor Faculty
Members, 1 Lecturer and 7 Research Assistants. The faculty staff includes 14 staff members, including faculty secretary and service
members.
Graduate Education Opportunities
Our faculty has 6 master’s and 4 doctoral programs that give postgraduate level education. Our master’s and doctoral students have
the opportunity to continue their education and research in research laboratories within our faculty, which are equipped with hightech
research devices and equipment. Within the scope of Exchange Programmes such as Erasmus, Farabi, Mevlana, graduate students
are exchanged with countries such as Poland, Spain, Italy and the UK. It is intended to provide our students with research, individual
learning, and problem-solving skills as well as education.
One of our main goals is to improve and develop education and training outcomes in our faculty and to bring up-to-date approaches to
pharmacy education. Our faculty has received Full Accreditation by ECZAKDER for six (6) years as of 27.01.2019 in line with the goal
of increasing the quality of students enrolled in undergraduate and associate degree programs. Graduates of our faculty are employed
as responsible managers and managers in production units of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, business development and
pharmacovigilance departments, licensing, research and development areas, quality control laboratories. In addition, other work areas
for our students are working as pharmacists at Turkey Medical Devices and Drug Administration, private, state and university hospitals,
being self-employed and doing academic career.
